A WEEKEND WITH DADDY!!!

If any of you know Monroe's schedule, you know it is VERY rare that we EVER have a weekend together! Well...we still didn't have the entire weekend because he left on Sunday....but at least we had a Saturday together as a family! :) This is some of the fun we had.:)

We went to the dinosaur museum...









Then we did a little golfing with Uncle Austin & Aunt Natty!

BACK TO ARIZONA!

Arizona for a week...home a week...back to Arizona for a week...You know we have to get in as many trips as we can before I have this baby! :) No...this was for a much more important reason! My dear sweet cousin Lacey was sealed to her beautiful family! It was the most amazingly beautiful thing I have ever seen! Congratulations to them all! I am so happy for her! :)


We had a little girls night for Lacey the 1st night I got there.


Monroe got to play with his cousins again & got a little ice cream.

Little Mamo & I went down to Arizona for a nice little visit before baby #2 gets here! :) My mom and Sister Natalie flew me down to do their hair before I have the baby! It was such a nice visit! I miss the warm winter weather.

American Idol Dreams...GONE

I have to be honest...I think the ONE and ONLY true fan of my singing is my mom. She's always so sweet to say how wonderful she thinks it is...:) So that is where I get some confidence in my singing abilities. Well, enough confidence I figured I could get away with singing to my babies...:) Anyways, I love to just rock Baby Monroe and sing to him at night. I do realize he is getting older and might not enjoy it as much...but he's still my baby! ANYWAYS...the other night I was putting him to bed just holding him singing to him and he leaned out of my arms toward his bed...so I laid him down in his bed and just rubbed his back while I finished my song...I guess he didn't want me to finish (or begin for that matter) because he sits up, looks at me, and then put a finger in each ear - PLUGGING HIS EARS!!!! WHAT?!?!? He was looking right at me plugging his little ears with his fingers! Who taught him this!??!? I was like o.k....I'll stop! So I did and he laid right back down. I was a little shocked thinking he did not just do that did he?! Well, I'll just walk out of the room (a little ashamed and embarressed...j/k) thinking he would cry and want me back in there....NO....not a peep! He DID NOT want me going back in there singing!!! So I have got over the hurt and just realized my dreams of being on American Idol just aren't going to come true... Unless I get on and am one of those ones that everyone laughs at! From the mouth of babes...well he can't exactly articulate 'shut up' yet...but his actions spoke volumes! :)

Big Boy Bed....or Floor....

I was nervous about taking Monroe out of his crib, but he has adapted to his new bed soo well! I found this cute bedding for him and his bro...it's from Pottery Barn...if you can see from the picture the cute little embroidered things are a skull & crossbones - but the crossbones are really skateboards! I thought it was so cute! :)
(((((p.s....pregnant + making a bunk bed = sooooo hard!!!
When was the last time anyone tried to make a bunk bed???? Is it just me or is it extremely difficult!?! No wonder kids hate making their beds!))))))))

So boy #2 is almost here and I am having the hardest time thinking of a name that I just absolutely LOVE! Any suggestions?????

FIRST NIGHT IN HIS BIG BOY BED!!!!

Since I have finally caught up on all I needed to blog.....Finally!!!!

I have to say TONIGHT IS MONROE'S 1ST NIGHT SLEEPING IN HIS BIG BOY BED!!!! Yeah! He did so good! We just got bunk beds, since the next little one is a boy also and they are going to room together! So Monz went from a crib to sleeping in a full tonight! He is growing up way too fast! He is such a good boy!

MORE BEACH WITH DADDY

We had to go to Salt Creek our last day in California. Monroe (dad) got all the way in the freezing water! I could not believe it. The weather was nice, but that water was ICE cold!
